FAQs
How can working with you help me?
Therapy provides a supportive and confidential relationship where you can openly share your feelings with a trusted professional. I am here to compassionately support you in achieving the goals that are most meaningful to you in life. In our work together, we will unpack your difficulties and explore new ways to cope with stress. My overarching goal is to help enhance your mind-body connection and increase your overall sense of wholeness. I cannot take you somewhere you do not want to go. Our journey begins with you feeling understood and trusting that I will help you. Once we have established trust and safety, my hope is that you will understand that therapy is helpful. If you find it is not, then I want to know. That is how we work collaboratively to address your needs.
How long does therapy take?
Treatment varies for each person, and many variables will impact the length of our work together. If you have specific questions about your timeline, I’m more than happy to discuss those details during our consultation or throughout our therapy.
How long are your sessions?
My standard session is 55 minutes. I typically meet with clients weekly, but specific treatment protocols can certainly be customized based on your needs. At the onset of therapy, we’ll review the best options for your care.
Do you see clients in person or online?
I currently offer virtual teletherapy using a HIPAA-compliant platform. I provide services to adults residing throughout California. I also offer in-person sessions upon request (limited slots are available for this option).
Do you accept insurance and what are your fees?
I do not currently accept insurance, but I can provide superbills for insurance reimbursement. Feel free to contact me to discuss fees. I offer individual and group therapy. Group therapy can be a cost-effective option for many clients. I provide complimentary 20-minute consultations for potential clients. If you have any questions or concerns about cost, please feel free to contact me, and we can discuss them.
What is your theoretical orientation?
I draw upon interventions from integrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems, somatic therapy, and internal family systems. In all my work, I pay close attention to the relationship between the mind and body. The more we can focus on this relationship, the better you will likely feel.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. I can be contacted by email or phone for cancellations or rescheduling.
Can I see you for group therapy and individual therapy?
Yes. Group Therapy complements individual therapy. Those who do both can gain a greater understanding of themselves and others. Clients have reported groups have helped them navigate life more easily and feel a greater sense of connection.
